2021-2022: RAPID REACT
The Robettes are back! After nearly two years, we were able to go back to in-person competitions. This year we built our robot and named her after the computer scientist and electrical engineer Lynn Conway. Lynn has a West Coast Style drive train with two climbing hooks and a hooded shooter. We participated in the Northern Lights and North Star competitions as well as two practice competitions. At the North Star Regional, two Robettes, Mairin O. and Megan O. were recognized as Dean’s List Finalists. These two had the opportunity to attend a celebratory lunch at FIRST World Championships in Houston with other Finalists. Our Safety Captain, Mikayla O. won the Safety Star of the Day award twice. As a team, we won the Imagery Award and Industrial Design Award.
