Each year, the Robettes host a summer camp for the team’s new and returning members to refine their skills over the summer before the fall season. This year, summer camp was a success. With many incoming freshman expressing interest in the team, excitement for the fall season was already starting to build. Every day, the Robettes would do a get-to-know-you activity followed by an activity that relates to FIRST Robotics, like building a tower out of paper clips and tape or creating a pitch for a product. Each girl had a chance to experience each of the four subteams to expand their horizons and get a taste of everything. Through fun, learning, and laughter, the Robettes’ 2015 Summer Camp was a success!
