The Robettes do a lot year round, including showing demos in the summer. In June, a few of the Robettes, a mentor, and a Robettes alum helped show Girl Scouts what our robotics team does and how we collectively work as a team to create a robot. This demo was held at the Target Headquarters, a part of a Girl Scout STEM event. The girl scouts learned how each part of our robot worked and got a chance to drive the robot on their own. We had lots of interaction with the girls, including some who were on FIRST teams themselves. Overall, it was a great day for the Robettes as we interacted with younger girls and showed them how excited we are about STEM.
